Trekking Route
The trek’s route starts as you take the mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The beautiful mountain flight provides scenic views of the entire Khumbu region. There are various routes that you will trek after you arrive at Lukla. The beautiful terrain then takes you to Phakding from Lukla.
Trekkers will pass through the local settlements to arrive at the hub of Namche. In Namche, you can acclimatize and explore the region’s beautiful landscapes. After exploring the beautiful terrains in settlement of Namche, you will then trek further.
From Namche, you will pass through the beautiful terrains of Tengboche. There you can observe the important religious site of the Tengboche monastery. You can join the local monks and nuns in the morning and evening prayers. Then you can proceed to your next destination in the Everest base camp trek, which is Dingboche.
You can acclimatize at Dingboche for the second time in the trek and explore the area. You can proceed to Gorak Shep, an original base camp for Mount Everest. Gorakshep leads you to the ultimate destination of Everest Base Camp. There you can observe the silver Himalayas all around.
